The Foundation for World Education and International Projects
Over the years, the board of the Foundation for World Education (FWE) has collaborated on projects with other Sri Aurobindo organizations. We have worked together with Stichting De Zaaier, a Dutch Foundation, to support Auroville education projects, environmental work, and community development as well as publications such as Georges Van Vrekhem’s Beyond Man.
We have also contributed to Auroville International-United Kingdom (AVI-UK) to support their grant application to the European Economic Community and the National Lotteries Commission Board for funding village education in the Auroville region.
Many organizations in India besides Auroville and the Sri Aurobindo Ashrams have received grant support, including Madhuban in the Himalayas, Auro Mira Service Society that runs the Kechla School in Orissa and The Gnostic Centre, an educational group in New Delhi.
The FWE has also supported grants for projects in Lithuania, Colombia, Kenya and China, and looks forward to supporting more projects around the Globe.
